I’ve watched so many TED talks of recent years. They are certainly one of the better things about the internet. To hear so many stories from so many people around the globe. I had no idea that they went back as far as this one from 1998.

To hear history I never knew before from such an entertaining orator was a very enjoyable way to spend a few minutes of my day. The older I get and the more I learn about history, the more I wonder what did they teach us in history at school.

Have I just forgotten most of it or did the curriculum not cover so many interesting areas that I am now learning about?
